With a sense of social responsibility and with the aim of further raising awareness of consumers in general & in particular in matters related to hygiene, our company from 10/06/2020 proceeded to production of melamine panels for the series PREMIUM & NATURAL melamines which are made with special impregnation for antibacterial and antifungal protection.
It refers to a special component which is added to the melamine resin during the process of impregnating the decorative surface so that it can be processed normally afterwards.
This ingredient is an antibacterial additive designed to produce melamine surfaces with antibacterial and antifungal activity.
It has been shown to be effective against bacteria, e.g. E. coli and Staph. Aureus and fungi, e.g. Aspergillus brasiliensis and Aureobasidium pullulans.
Surfaces protected with this additive have been successfully tested to ISO22196 and ASTM G21-15.
