Participation of Alfa Wood Group in Biomass Day 2023!
The BIOMASS DAY 2023 entitled "The role and contribution of Bioenergy as an active branch of the Bioeconomy in dealing with the Energy Crisis" was the first live conference of this series of events, after the two previous ones that had been held online due to the pandemic, held on Friday, January 27 2023, at the Serafio Cultural Center of the Municipality of Athens.
The event was organized by the magazine / portal BIOENERGY NEWS and SHAPE Business Events, under the auspices of the Hellenic Biomass Development Company (ELEAVIOM).
The "present" was given by notable experts in the field, with presentations where some of the topics were about the opportunities and challenges in the bioenergy sector in Europe in 2023, about the management of biomass for the production of energy and energy products, about the role of the bioeconomy in dealing with the energy crisis.
Vassilis Adamopoulos, member of the Board of Directors of Alfa Wood Group and vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of ELEAVIOM, analyzed the applications of bioenergy production and standardized solid biofuels developed by the group specializing in the simultaneous co-production of wood pellets and electricity with the ORGANIC RANKINE CYCLE (ORC) system.
