At its facilities Alfa Wood Group in Grevena, on Wednesday, December 6, the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Mr. Adonis Georgiades accompanied by the Governor of DYPA Mr. Spyros Protopsaltis and the Deputy Director Mrs. Gianna Hormova.
The management of the group Alfa Wood Group toured Mr. Georgiadis & the team to the only Greek Laminate, Fibreboard & Biomass production factory and they were thoroughly informed about all the production lines & production capabilities of the factory.
THE Mr. Georgiadis emphasized that the Alfa Wood Group is one of the largest wood industries with ecological consciousness, a model in its field, with a large export activity, and high quality products. An example to follow!!! In addition, he pointed out the lack of qualified staff and emphasized that DYPA will start immediate cooperation for Apprenticeship programs that will offer the possibility to many young people to work in the group, gaining valuable work experience & knowledge, staying in their place. Greece underlined the minister can again become a force to be reckoned with.
The management of the group thanked the minister for his visit, his interest in the production unit of Alfa Wood Group and the development. In addition, it was pointed out that Mr. Georgiadis is a minister who knows the business sector in Greece very well, taking care of the issues that concern the business sector.
During his visit to Alfa Wood Group, the minister was also accompanied by the member of parliament for Grevena, Mr. Ioannis Yatsios, the Regional Governor of Western Macedonia Mr. George Kasapidis and the newly elected Regional Governor of Western Macedonia Mr. George Amanatidis, the Secretary General of the Decentralized Administration of Western Macedonia Mr. Seraphim Liapis, the Deputy Governor of Grevena, Mr. Athanasios Folinas, and the newly elected Mayor of Grevena, Mr. Kyriakos Tataridis.
