The Regional Biomass Forum is a new series of events organized by the Hellenic Biomass Development Company (ELEAVIOM) on an annual basis. The purpose of the Forum is to bring businesses, local government, academic and research institutions, agricultural and forestry cooperatives, energy communities, logistics managers, owners-operators of project machinery, forestry and agricultural machinery, biomass producers and generally all stakeholders into direct contact and networking. of the biomass value chain.
The 1st Regional Biomass Forum on "Bioenergy and Sustainable Forestry Management" focuses on the role of forest biomass utilization for the production of bioenergy, wood products, solid biofuels - pellets, biochar - biochar and bioeconomy products, in order to mitigate the effects of climate change on forest ecosystems of the country.
The event is organized in collaboration with Austrian Embassy in Athens, the Commercial Department ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA and the Austrian Biomass Association and consists of two distinct sections, the day (Tuesday 14 May 2024) and the visits (Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 May 2024). Participation in each of these sections is carried out without financial burden for the delegates and is realized thanks to the kind sponsorship of the companies - members of ELEAVIOM. Online registration is required for each module separately.
