Adonis Georgiadis for Alfa Wood Group: The largest wood industry in Greece
The Minister of Development, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, visited Alfa Wood Group's facilities at the Larissa Business Center on Friday, October 14.
Mr. Georgiadis was guided for at least an hour in the exhibition and the production unit, he talked with the workers, while he showed particular interest in the Alfa Wood Group's biomass power plant, with a total capacity of 1MW
In his statements, the minister described Alfa Wood Group as one of the largest wood industries, a pioneer in its field, with many exports, great activity and high quality. In particular, he emphasized: "I am extremely happy that such industries can and do operate in Greece and under such conditions they continue to develop and compete"
For his part, the president of the group, Mr. Adamopoulos, thanked the minister for his visit, while he did not fail to emphasize that he is a minister who knows the business sector in Greece well. At the same time, he referred to the strong export nature of the group and the large investment plans for 2023 worth 16.5 million euros.
