Consecration of the reopening of the ELPAN factory

In a joyful atmosphere, on Thursday, June 8, a consecration took place at the historical factory of Komotini (formerly Shelman), now ELPAN standard production of Greek industrial wood panels.

After 10 years, the doors of the factory were opened again, with the presence of its management Alfa Wood Group and important guests of the local, religious and political leadership of the prefecture and the Anat Region. Macedonia & Thrace.

As the president of Alfa Wood Group Mr. Vassilis Adamopoulos emphasized, the group aims to have the factory fully operational within the year and to create more than 150 new jobs gradually, supporting the local economy and social welfare. The management expressed special thanks to all the employees for their tireless efforts to keep the facilities in a functional environment over the last decade.

By implementing the Group's investment plan for the re-operation of the industrial area, the will of the management is the upward trajectory of ELPAN, adopting and investing in new environmentally friendly practices and modes of operation with reduced energy costs and products of high & stable quality.

 It is ELPAN's hope and goal to leave the strong economic footprint that such an investment portends, changing the image of the Rhodopes, supporting the qualitative development & regeneration of the region.
