The industrial facilities of the ALFA WOOD GROUP group are located in Greece, in three different locations and cover a total area of 408,000 sq.m., of which the covered areas of our factories make up 81,000 sq.m.
Pellets
Factory Pellets & Briquette
The Pellet & Briquette industry ALFA WOOD GROUP with a production capacity of 65,000 tons per year, it is among the largest producers of wood pellets and briquettes in Europe.
Production started in November 2010 and by ensuring security of availability, it played a key role in the development of wood pellet, wood briquettes and the sale of boilers in our country.
It is the only Greek factory certified according to the European high quality standard ENplus .
It employs over 40 Greek workers and many more in the supply chain. It is her definition GREEN GROWTH, and indeed in an uncritical area.
In addition to the domestic market, it exports significant quantities to Italy mainly, but also to Cyprus, Bulgaria, Albania, Lebanon, contributing the most to the National Economy.
Briquette
Factory Nevrokopi-Drama
The industrial facilities in Nevrokopi are developed on an area of 228,000 sq.m., of which 15,300 sq.m. they are covered. The Nevrokopi plant is active in the production of biofuels and in the field of green energy. The products produced by the factory are:
- Wood pellets (wood pelletts)
- Wood briquettes
- Industrial Pellet - Sunflower pellets (Agro pellets)
- Wood Chips
- 1.5MWH power generation using biomass and solar energy
