Registration opens for the Industrial Automation Technician Apprenticeship School of the Ministry of the Interior – ALFA WOOD GROUP of Grevena

The Public Employment Service (PEAS), in collaboration with ALFA WOOD GROUP Grevena, announces the start of registrations for Apprenticeship School for the new and modern specialty «"Industrial Automation Technician"».

This is a innovative vocational training program, which combines the mechanical engineering, the technology, the electronics and the logic of automation — the sector that is already defining the future of industry.

They have the right to register young people aged 15 to 29 years (born between 1996–2010), who have completed at least the Third grade of high school.
The duration of studies is two (2) years, with full timetable courses and internship in its state-of-the-art facilities ALFA WOOD GROUP in Grevena.

Apprentices are paid with 125 or 156 euros per week, depending on the days of apprenticeship (4 or 5 days), while at the same time it applies subsidy of 5 euros per hour of apprenticeship.
In addition to the financial remuneration, significant benefits are provided accommodation and food services, as apprentices are entitled to housing allowance 240 euros per month and food allowance 9 euros per day, with expanded income criteria.

 After the end of the apprenticeship the guaranteed minimum wage will be €1,500 gross.

In addition, it is provided study leave of up to 30 days with pay, as well as deferment of military service for male apprentices.
The study takes place in modern laboratories, with free books, educational equipment and support experienced and specialized teaching staff.

His specialty Industrial Automation Technician responds to the growing needs of the industry for highly specialized personnel in the field of automated production systems.
Upon completion of their studies, graduates will have a substantial competitive advantage in the labor market, capable of distinguishing them within the highly demanding and constantly evolving work environment.
